Position Description:
The Office Assistant provides quality customer service to University of Portland students, families and other offices on and off campus. The Office Assistant reviews and evaluates financial aid documents for accuracy and completeness and resolves discrepancies. The Office Assistant responds to inquiries regarding financial aid regulations, policies and procedures and supports the front office with general clerical duties and projects. This is a 12-month, non-exempt (hourly), part-time position (generally about 17.5 hours per week) without benefits. This position does receive sick time benefits consistent with Oregon state requirements. Please note that eligibility for all University benefits is subject to applicable policies, practices, and requirements.

This position has the following schedule-related requirements: generally, Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
